A proper close to a great meal

QUESTION:
What do you have at the end of a great meal?

ANSWER:
Some homemade limoncello in sugar-rimmed, iced glasses, of course!!



After we researched the best recipe, Mr. Wonderful bought the Meyer Lemons on line. Then he, Bobby and I proceeded to make the most fantastic limoncello ever!

Time to think about making more - there are only 3 bottles left!!

This is what 2 broken ankles looks like. Yes, my mom broke BOTH her ankles.

I've been falling all my life, haven't broken a bone yet - I guess instead of making fun of me all these years, she should have been paying attention to HOW TO FALL CORRECTLY!!

Old Friends

Here is a picture of my "oldest" friends - We've been friends for over 30 years. The best part about having friends this long, is that it is natural for us to "feel" eachother's joy and pain.

Here we are at one of their son's wedding. We were all together last year at my daughter's wedding - and we will do it again at the end of this year for the daughter of the "third musketeer".

It is a privelege to grow old with these women.
