Time stands still when your child is sick. I am the mom. I should be able to make everything better - AND I CAN'T.

I now understand the meaning of the phrase, "waiting to exhale". I don't think I have taken a full breath of air since hearing the news. It is all still so surreal to me.

Thank you to all who have offered such kind words and prayers. He WILL win this battle. There are so many of us praying for him...
