To Tree, or Not To Tree?

So last weekend I tell Mr. Wonderful that I do not want to put up a tree this year. He went all "postal" on me giving me 100 reasons why we had to put one up. Seriously, I was not even listening to him, I was just nodding... thinking about the whole shopping experience. Having to go after work one evening... freezing temps... him searching through all the trees to find the BEST tree on the lot... blah, blah blah... I resigned myself to the fact that this was going to happen no matter what.


Despite the rocky beginning, I was bound and determined to enjoy my day. The kids were coming for dinner and we were going to relax and watch some football.

Bobby and Suse came waltzing through the front door and Bobby opens the blinds on the front window. "Come here, Ma. Look, I decorated my car for Christmas!"



Yes, he bought us a tree. He said that he figured we had not shopped for one yet and he thought he would make it a little easier for us.

So, it seems we are moving in slow motion this year.....but at least we are headed in the right direction.
