Do you want the good news or the bad news? Good news...your menu looks amazing...Bad news...we're all coming for Christmas!
Come. Sit. I'll feed ya!!
In our family, you must add baked clams and some form of pasta. I'm thinking ham instead of turkey but that still has to be finalized.
Ang made fried artichokes but I'm thinking that might be too much work to do last minute on Christmas.
as long as I am with family on Christmas, I'd eat McDonald's but go ahead, knock yourselves out....I enjoy that, too.
Ok, mental note to self...McD's for Aunt Rita and all the kids, real food for the rest of us :) Just kidding! I would so NOT allow any of that crap on my Christmas dinner menu!
Oh Angela, you missed my point.....
that butternut squash sounds amazing!
for Christmas, we are doing another deep-fried turkey because the Turnip didn't get to try it AND I have one in my freezer. She is making a ham. I'm still working on the final menu and will post when I figure it out. WHat are you having for CHristmas Eve? Are you doing the 7 fish thing? We are not. It's just the 5 of us (plus the nugget) so I'm doing linguini with clam sauce, cocktail shrimp, and clams casino.
I used to do a traditional Fish Dinner (yes, with the 7 fishes!) I don't do a big Christmas Eve anymore. This is the one holiday that I graciously give up and tell all the kids to go to their in-laws. Mr. W. and I will be busy preparing for the next day. That man would be happy with a tuna sandwich!!
